Munsyari

Munsyari is situated in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand state at a height of 11500 ft. The distance is around 120 kms from Pithoragarh. It’s not much famous tourist spot but perfect and quiet well for tourism in Uttaranchal. Once you reach there you will see a panoramic view of high peaks like Nandakot, Nandaghungti, Rambha, Shiplakot and Panchachulli. You can enjoy trekking to nearby places Khalia top 10 kms , Darkot 10 kms north of Munsyari and Birthi falls (31 kms) is a 500 metre trek from the main road leading to Munsyari. It’s a wonderful place to visit for trekking.

Route: NH 24 from Delhi – Turn Left from Rampur after crossing Hapur and Moradabad – Bilaspur – Haldwani – Kathgodam – Diversion towards Berinag from Almora –Dholchina – Thal – Kalamuni - Munsyari.

hi Mr. Prakash, I saw your blogs on the Uttranchal tourism. Am planning to make a trip to mussoorie,nanital & other places, in the first week of July. Can you please tell me, if this place is suitable & inform me the route to go this places

the information was helpful but if u could add the transport mode by air, rail , mode that will be much helpful..i m planning tour to munsyari n near by places in july..
